The article below appeared in the winter edition of the excellent Traveller magazine. It’s about the latest book in our series, Speak the Culture: Italy, and details the dispensation of blood, sweat and tears on the road to compiling a new volume of Speak the Culture: the 14 hour days, the nervous exhaustion, the nights spent in custody… well, sort of.

I have read Speak the Culture: Italy from cover-to-cover and found out some amazing facts about the Italians. I did not realize they are worse than the brits regarding soap operas. Great read.
